Eternity Knot (K27019)

The Small Eternity Knot is hand-carved out of one piece of soapstone. Soapstone is found naturally in a beautiful variance of color ranging from pink hues to cream. A fair trade product of Kenya, the small eternity knot ranges in size from 4”H X 2.25”W X 3”L to 5”H X 2.5”W X 3”L. The eternity knot is sometimes known as the marriage knot. The two loops of the wedding knot stand for a couple that has become joined through marriage, but remain two individual people. The sculpture is given to a couple on their wedding day with a blessing: "May the union last as long as the stone from which the sculpture is carved."
