Handmade from the finest quality products by artisan craftsmen from East Kalimantan Bornero - Woven from natural fibers - Rattan. 100% Batik fabric lining. Dimensions approx.: 18 in x 11 in x 8 in. As all our products are handmade, each is unique and no two are exactly identical. Therefore, each bag may vary in size, color, pattern and clasps. The bags are woven by hand individually in an artisan village in Bornero that specializes in basketry. The primary material used is rattan, which is very durable. The basket bags have a faint scent of smoke, as they are smoked over coconut husks as they dry, leaving a patina. The rich smoked scent fades over time. Each bag is lined with drawstring top with traditional Indonesian batik fabric print.
